Getting engaged is the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and an engagement session is a lovely way to celebrate it.
Whether you’re recently engaged or counting down to your wedding, we’ll create a relaxed collection of photographs together, away from the excitement and busy schedule of the wedding day itself.
Your photographs can also become part of your wedding preparations, from save-the-dates and invitations to a personalised wedding guestbook.

One of the things I hear most often is, “We’re not very good in front of the camera.” And that’s absolutely fine. You don’t need to be.
We’ll take a walk, have a chat and enjoy the surroundings. I’ll offer a little guidance when it’s helpful, but I won’t have you constantly looking at the camera or trying to recreate uncomfortable poses.
Sometimes it’s the way you look at each other, an unexpected laugh or a quiet moment together that makes the photograph.
I want you to enjoy the experience as much as the photographs themselves, and come away with images that feel like you.

Whether you prefer the countryside, the coast or somewhere more urban, we’ll choose one location that suits your story and makes the most of our time together.
Based in Hull, East Yorkshire, I photograph couples across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Travel within 75 road miles each way from Hull is included in your experience.
If you have somewhere further afield in mind, just ask. We can discuss your chosen location and agree any additional travel costs before booking.

My Couples Experience costs £300 for up to 60 minutes of photography at one location. It includes all professionally edited images as high-resolution digital downloads, a private online gallery and ten 10×8-inch prints in a presentation box. Travel within 75 road miles each way from Hull is also included.
There’s no fixed number of photographs. Every image I select and professionally edit from your session is included, with no additional image charges. The final number will vary depending on the location and how the session unfolds.

That’s completely normal. I’ll offer gentle guidance throughout, so there’s no need to know how to pose or spend the whole session looking at the camera. The aim is to enjoy some time together while I capture natural photographs of you both.
